Default I can't get my voice mail from France on ATT Wireless!

I registered in advance to do this. I am pressing the plus sign and
the screen changes. But when I dial my cell number, I get a recording
telling me to dial my number again when I hear my welcome message. the
only problem is I never hear the message. It just keeps recycling the
same ATT message over and over. I have tried just about every
variation, but all I get are error messags or try again later. What's
the story. Is ATT just plain unreliable in this regard? And I can't
wait to see how they bill me for all these calls that aren't going
through!

I'm assuming you're using your own GSM handset and service? To
retreive voicemail, you shouldn't be dialing your own wireless number,
you should press and hold the "1" key. This should be programmed with
the voicemail drop number. If you have your own number programmed in
there, that's most likely the problem. Call International Wireless
care @ 1-800-335-4685 from a landline. They will take your # and call
you back, and give you the correct # to dial to retreive your VM.
