low virtual memory problem!

Hello,

Pls help me on my problem for 2 PC

always pop up with "low virtaul memory"

what would be my problem?
what must i do for my PC?

My PC desc.

PC1
Pentium 2 266 MHZ
RAM 256MB / HD 20 GB
OS WINDOWS 2000

PC2
PENTIUM 4 2.26GHZ
RAM 256 / HD 40GB
OS WINDOWS XP SP2

Here is a great article explaining what exactly is going on and how to fix it.

Low Virtual Memory

Don't worry it's a very very simple fix and shouldn't take you more than 2 minutes to do.

Generally it means your hard-drive is full. Start clearing some space up. If it's already empty, you'll either need a ram-defraging program, to optimize the ram you have now, or simply buy some new ram.

I one great solution for this problem. Upgrade your RAM. Buy another 256 to make it 512. Or buy a single RAM stick with higher memory capacity. Or avoid running too much application at the same time to save up on memory.

I had this problem while I was having around 1gb of disk space left on my hard drive. Once I cleaned some stuff up and uninstalled and deleted things I didn't need then it all went away and I got no more errors.
