Angry big problem with starting windows 98

Hi,
I have a problem loading windows 98. When I turn my computer on, it does everything normally until it gets to loading windows. Mid-way through it stops and goes to a black screen and says that the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\IOSUBSYS file failed to load. I cant get into SafeMode. The only thing i can do is the commands. Please write back if you know anything i could do.

Thanks, John

You could check your Device Manager and make sure that everything looks good and nothing has any yellow exclamation points, and that nothing has a red x on it. If any of these are present you may have a driver or hardware problem. Did you recently install anything new, hardware or software?

The easiest way to do this could be to copy over the file from another computer that is already running the same OS. It works for around 90% of the times.
