1 Gigabyte of ram in windows 98 SE

This is possible
1 gigabyte of ram in windows 98 SE
See these links

I made some screenshots using print-screen button
I will get 2 gigs of ram in a little while just because of dual channel speed
increase possibley. And of course just to see if it works! THe one that is cut out is Need For Speed Underground 2 and
the first one is Just a couple seconds after running Norton Wipe Slack Space.
And you can see that i am running Mechwarrior. And the one that is the lowest is just normal boot up. the last one SimCity 4.

Did some people think it wasn't possible to run 1 GB of RAM with Windows 98 SE?

i was once told that windows 98 was not capable of 1 gig of Ram. I was told of many errors that arrive with 1 gig of ram. So if there are errors(with windows 98 having one gig of ram) i found links that will help resolve them. (Although i never had any errors ever all that resulted was just preformance increases when optimizing the ram for 1 gig)Sorry for not being very clear on the purpose of the thread. I was also trying to show that the computer will use the ram.

Windows 98 will use 1Gig of Ram it just does not do it very well. You shouldnt have any problems with it just that it is not very much use.

Microsoft even state that Windows XP does not get any more benifit from more then about 384MB but more is handy when you are running games.
