Hi All. My girlfriend is running Xp home eddition. I updated her free AVG to version 7 and restarted her computer. Xp logged off all users as soon as any were logged on. I went administrator in safe mode and deleted AVG. everything went back to normal. my girlfriend then decided to try to install AVG again. the same happened to her except she cannot log on to administrator in safe mode too. XP just returns to user user screen after logging off administrator itself.
Hope someone can help with this. Thanks in advance. |

This is a very strange problem. Do you have a Windows Restore point that you can roll your operating system back to from before she install the AVG for the second time?
