Windows 98 questions

1. Yahoo Messenger always launches whenever I restart. How do I shut that off? (Not remove the program).

2. I installed Office 97 and everything launches (Powerpoint, Access, Excel, Outlook) except Word 97 which is what I want the most. I think I messed with some .stf file and I'm not sure where it goes back (I did save it). I got some error message (sorry, I did so many things I don't remember when I got this message):
The Setup Configuration file: C:\PROGRA~1\MICROS~3\Office\SETUP\Word97.stf is missing or corrupt. Try running Setup again from where you originally ran it. Well I uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times, and Word 97 is NOT in the same places as the other Office programs. Also, Word does not work at all. It tries to launch and it the program icon sits down at the bottom like it's minimized. The only way to get rid of it is to reboot. Any ideas?

I'm using Earthlink Total Access and now when I click on Email (on the task panel) it always tells me that my default email is not set and do I want to set it now. I've chosen Outlook Express 3 times, clicked apply and ok, and I still get that message. OE will launch if I click on the prgram itself, but I wonder if my number 2 question has anything to do with this Outlook Express issue in Total Access?
