Angry Every port blocked

My ISP seems to block every port. At first I thought they might have only blocked ports like 21 and 80 etc, but now I find that whatever port I try, I cannot get a connection over the internet. I set up port forwarding on my router for every port I tried, yet nothing came through. The only open ports available (I did a port scan) are 25 and 110, but those are in use by a program I have no knowledge of.

Not even port 16699 works. :err:

any suggestions?

thanks

Who are you port scanning? Yourself? Are you using one of those internet apps to check for open ports? Obviously not every port is going to be open at the same time, especially home users. Firewalls can also stealth ports so it looks like there is no computer.

Port 25 is smtp
Port 110 is Pop3

I am using a program I downloaded off the net. It's called NetBrute IP tracer. Either way, with every port I try, my friends are still not able to access my IP.

What firewall are you using? Try putting yourself in DMZ. There should be an option in your router to do this. This will open yourself up competely and it will be a good test to see if your router is blocking you.

Net Brute IP Tracer

I looked at the internet and I do not find any thing named Net Brute IP Tracer. I see Net Brute tracer, but it is not a program. I have no idea where you got this IP tracer. Do you know what internet service you got this program off of?

Go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com and use the program there. Then go to http://cleanup.stevengould.org . On this internet service, it will analyze your computer. That program will tell you why this is happening and clear it for you. Do the long program. Carry some popcorn and reading material with you for you will be there awhile. The program is free.
