Default Brainstorming Shapes Connection

I have started to use the brainstorming function in Visio and I am very happy with it apart from the fact (or maybe not a fact) that the shapes such as tasks, calendars etc are not fixed to the topics and therefore when I have to, say move an topic and su
btopics to a new page the shapes don't move with them.

The other annoying thing is that comments don't seem to be veiwable in HTML.

Hope some one can help resolve these problems.

Thanks

Jason

Default Re: Brainstorming Shapes Connection

For your second concern, the comments are not displayed on the web page,
however, there are a couple of workarounds.

1. Make a custom property on the shape that refers to the comment. Go into
the Shapesheet and set the "value" cell of the custom property to be
"=Comment". Now when you bring up the custom properties for that shape on
the web page, you'll see the comment.

2. Add a user-defined cell called "visequivtitle". Set the value cell to
"=Comment". This allows you to mouse over the shape and have the comment
text displayed as a tooltip. Note though that this only works in Visio 2003.
