diag

Hi all,
I suspect there is some hardware error in my p650 box.
I run "diag" but it said can't finish as some device driver is using.
What should I do?
Thanks

if you run diag in concurrent mode (while aix box/lpar up and running
after normal boot) apparently this particular device is in use and can
not be tested by diag exclusively. So boot in maintanence mode, the best
is from CD (to release as much devices as possible), and run diag again

actually if you can, you may release the device in normal operational
mode, for example, depending on the device, by removing it's all child
devices

right, go to SMS menu, boot from CD...
correction on terminology: I mean standalone mode according to the IBM
book, maintanence mode is single user mode which is something different
