Check your bandwidth here
http://www.liveping.com/meter.php http://bandwidthplace.com/speedtest/ I just ran a test today, and it said, 739.10kbps. "which means you can download at 92.39 KB/sec. from our servers." Yesturday it was between 373.30-393.80-kbps average here. Can't say if its too accurate, I would check at least 2-3 sites or more to get a better idea of what the average speeds is. |

The first one shows me at 3.24 Mbps and the second one is 2.7 Mbps.
Thats pretty dang fast actually. I got a question, could someone please exlpain the different between bits and bytes. I know that "B" is for bytes and "b" is for bits |

A Kilobit is one thousand bits. It is used to measure the amount of data transferred per second. Kilobits per second is shortened to kb/s, Kbps or kbps (as opposed to KBps, which is Kilobytes per second. Note the capitalization). The lowercase b is commonly used to denote bits, while the uppercase B is used for bytes. 1 kb/s = 1000 bits per second 1 KB/s = 1024 bytes per second |

2.1 megabits per second
Communications 2.1 megabits per second Storage 254.6 kilobytes per second 1MB file download 4 seconds Subjective rating Great The thing is, I'm running 4 computers on this network ( My family ) which are all connected and using the internet at the moment. That effects this test right? |
