The site seems to require a username/password. I tried to use
anonymous/e-mail-address, no luck however.

Are you getting:

530 Sorry, the maximum number of allowed users are already connected (25).
421 Service not available, remote server has closed connection

messages?

Try again later.

Bye, Dragan

It is most likely that you are behind a miss configured firewall.

I have no problems to access the server.

I thought the Intel i960 architecture had been around for a long time.
Haven't seen Solaris running on it though.... 8-)

I get as far ftp://ftp/berlios.de/pub/ and see a directory listing.
Try the cdrecord directory and all I see is:

250-Please read 00MESSAGE
This directory containd CD-R tools which combines the following programs:

and it hangs. Any suggestions?

Update: 26/2/04
It appears although I cannot get the directory listing itself, if I reference a file within the directory, the upload works OK - just needed to know the filename.
