BIOS configuration error on laptop

Hello, I try to install Sun Solaris ix86 on a laptop.

Best 3150 ( Clevo ) 433 MhZ
128 RAM
6 GB HD

When it boot from the cd ( the install cd or cd # 1)
I get the message:
_____________________________
SunOS Secondary Boot version 3.00

<bootdev>: can't open - bios configuration error
<bootdev>: a : can't open - bios configuration error
prom_panic: Could not mount filesystem.
Entering boot debugger:
[135aa9]: _
---------------------------------------

If I hit enter I get a list of commands.

I have disabled the 'Plug and Play OS' in bios.
How do I go along with the installation?

Conny

oK wow fixed this..

typical sunOS .. the bootstrap is unable to read from the CDROM drive, and cannot mount the "root" filesystem from the CDROM.

OK on cd 2 you'll find the floppy disk configuration image called d1_image under solaris_9/tools/. You will need to download dd.exe from http://www.nu2.nu/bootcd/#aboutdd. Run dd in cmd window from cd folder /solaris_9/tools type:

dd d1_image a:

thats it -- reboot with this floppy + install cd and your in..

Good laptop
