Any of you using anti-virus?

Hello everyone,

I always wondered what kind of protection your computer has. Mine currently has only the built-in firewall from Windows XP, and I must say I'm very proud of it. I'm a professional PC user and whenever a virus found a way into my computer, I killed it before it even started to damage my files. That's why I don't have a antivirus. What about you guys?

Greetz, AeroDawn

I use the built in firewall as well, it works great. I've only had some bad spyware a couple years ago, which I just reinstalled xp on my pc and it worked fine again.

I use to use Norton Anti-Virus, but I don't think its worth the money unless you have no protection.

For my home computers, I have a firewall for my home network (a PC running PF on OpenBSD). As far as antivirus, I don't use it. We are careful and smart about what we do and have never had virus problems. On the network I manage, we have the Symantec Corporate anti virus package and I use Spybot Search and Destroy.
