Garmin 2610 POI permanent showing of gasstations

Hi

Is there a way of having the GPS show specific POI like e.g. gasstations, on
e.g. 12km resolution, I would like that when I'm driving long distances.

There is a Map Detail option on the Map tab which is the closest to
what you want. Page 39 of the manual.
