Hello-
Anyone know how to make a word document private or locked down so if i lose my pocket PC the document cannot viewed. If possible please contact me by email, otherwise a post is ok. Thanks April |

Replying to personal email means others do not get the chance to benefit from answers, add to them, or point out problems. You have managed to post to a newsgroup, you should really come back to see answers too- if you want personal service there are many consultants out there who offer a personal service for a fee. There are utilities which can encrypt files. NMS can encrypt all files including memory cards, or look at [url]www.pocketpcfreewares.com[/url] for some other choices- try encrypt in the search box. There are some utilities which can encrypt bank account details/pins too, if that's what your wanting. (eg Passman, which can delete the data after 3 failed attempts at opening the data). |
