Why did you pick the cell phone company you picked?

I picked Cingular, because at the time a friend of mine's uncle owned a shop. However, even if that was not the case I would have picked Cingular, because they have no roaming fees within the United States. And now my plan also comes with rollover minutes, which is really cool. I think I have like thousands of unused minutes now, so I can never go over and get billed for overage.

They had a good deal going over at Sam's Club.. The plan I have is a shared one between 2 other phones. 800 anytime minutes, and unlimited night/weekends.. Not bad.. We usually stay under 800 minutes, last month we went over by 100 I think.

I think the shared plans are pretty good deals as long as you agree not to screw the other people. ;)

I share a plan too. I have a bunch of minutes split with my parents and my brother.

I picked Verizon and the base plan, mainly because I wanted good service and a particular phone. They also took 100 dollars off the phone price because I was a returning customer. I would have picked Cingular if they offered me the same price break.

i picked t-mobile because i wanted a GSM service so i can just move sim cards from one phone to another. I only use sony ericsson phones and i wish they supported US 3G service.
