CardExport2 USB failure

After registering CardExport2 I get this message when I connect from my
Palm515 to W2K:"Wrong USB status by underlying driver".
Before I registered it worked flawlessly without this message. What can
I do? It is a shareware that expires after 24 days, so I cannot use it
without registering (beside the fact that I have paid for it
