Default Bonding module gives error when loading with parameters

Hi,

I am trying to load the Bonding module and if I do not pass any
parameters to it it works fine.

But if I issue the command with any parameter I get this error:

[root@hpdns root]# modprobe bonding miimon=100 mode=1
/lib/modules/2.4.9-e.24smp/kernel/drivers/net/bonding.o: invalid
parameter parm_miimon
/lib/modules/2.4.9-e.24smp/kernel/drivers/net/bonding.o: insmod
/lib/modules/2.4.9-e.24smp/kernel/drivers/net/bonding.o failed
/lib/modules/2.4.9-e.24smp/kernel/drivers/net/bonding.o: insmod
bonding failed

No matter what parameters I pass to the module, I always get this
error.

Has anybody experienced something similar?

BTW: I am using the Linux kernel 2.4.9-e.24

Fran
