i got rid of windows 98 microsoft and boght windows xp
i used to watch multiple mpegs at one time in nice lilltle windows,
now that i have windows 2000 xp i watch an mpeg in one window forcing me to watch it in media player 9.
my question is how do i watch multiple mpegs and how do stop media player 9?

You can try this...

In Media Player, TOOLS|OPTIONS|FILE TYPES tab
UNcheck the Movie (mpeg) choice

Then assign that function to your preferred player
