I have Norton somewhat installed on my PC. However, when
I go to intal it again or try to remove it from my software I get and Error 1606 Documents and Settings/ All Users/ desktop is not accessable by program. Can someone help me out in layman's terms?? |

If you cannot uninstall using Add/Remove Programs then use their separate uninstaller. I didn't bother hunting around www.symantec.com for the programs. Come back here if a search for "clean uninstall" under whatever Norton product you are using (which you never bothered to identify) on Symantec's web site turns up no matches. You can also send them off a message using their online web form (once you figure out how to drill to it) to ask them about their separate cleanup uninstallers. -- __________________________________________________ __________ *** Post replies to newsgroup.
