To do this, right-click on the desktop and click Properties. Click on the screen-saver tab. Click on the "Settings..." button, the one next to the energy-star logo (it is a picture of half the earth). Set the amount of time you would like the computer to take (the amount of "idling" time, meaning the amount during which you are not typing on the keyboard or moving the mouse or things like that...I think having a movie play without you interacting is the same thing as idling...) to turn off the monitor and the hard disks. Other than that, I don't know of anything you can do =( |
