Ambilogic: Sound Like Fraud To Me

I'm late to this discussion, but I may have something useful to add. I
have been considering HMCSE/MCSA boot camps and did research on several
net-listed schools. One was Ambilogic. I have Ambilogic's policy as
listed on their website on January 17-04. Their cancellation/refund policy
was exactly as OP-Mark stated....30-day notification of the need to cancel
would result in a FULL refund. Now I see that the company requires 60 days
notification. I wonder when they changed their policy? My guess is not
long after OP notified them of his need to cancel.

Aren't things hard enough these days in the realm of job hunting and trying
to better one's chances at keeping or finding a job without people having to
worry about sleight-of-hand companies changing policies to make a buck?

OP: If you'd like like a copy of Ambilogic's policies as listed on their
website in January, please let me know. I'd be happy to send it to you. In
the meantime, I suggest you get a hold of the New Hampshire's Attorney
General, call the Better Business Bureau, and if it comes it....get yourself
a lawyer. Oh, and I'd contact Microsoft and see what they have to say about
this kind "customer service". I know how ticked I'd be if I were being
bilked of $5000 of my hard-earned money. Problem is there are a lot of
companies like Ambilogic out there who think they can get away with such
shifty moves. They must think the people they do business with out here in
the real world are idiots.

I hope you prove them wrong. Good luck!
Jen
I leave
messages which are not returned, and emails which are not answered. It's now
been 10 days, and I'm starting to get a very bad feeling.

Forums & Misinformation

Forums are good, but I find it absolutely useless if people can not read about both sides of the situation. The man in the thread below has been asked by both AmbiLogic and his own attorney to remove this inaccurate information from this web site and refuses to make it happen. The person in question did not cancel his registration within the 30 day time period. Yes, AmbiLogic has changed its refund policy to 60 days because we disburse program funds prior to the 30 day point. The person in question's registration came in prior to the change and therefore falls under the old policy, where in fact he has missed the deadline. We have offered to make an exception for this person if in good faith he remove this inaccurate information from these web sites. He agreed, but has yet to comply. AmbiLogic is not going to pay to be slandered just as you wouldn't as it is illegal and unfair.

The ball is in his court regarding his refund and I do not feel AmbiLogic has done anything to warrant this negative information. We have extensive positive experiences and references for any perspective student to research before attending and will be happy to supply them to anyone wishing to attend and is not sure whether this source can be trusted.

We are fair and not out to fraud anyone. That is not our business and it is not good business, we are a responsible business and willing to take responsibility for our programs.

If anyone has any questions, please feel free to call us directly.

Another word in fact.

In response to the statement below
Aren't things hard enough these days in the realm of job hunting and trying
to better one's chances at keeping or finding a job without people having to
worry about sleight-of-hand companies changing policies to make a buck?

The person in question's boot camp was paid in full by his company and therefore does not fall into the realm of the above statement. Furthermore, aren't things hard enough these days in the realm of small businesses trying to make it not to have to worry about people that don't have any idea what they are talking about to express such stong opinions. My guess is that you know the person in question personally and are just trying to support his misconstrued case. If not, then your open mind is greatly appreciated.

I personally work very hard to keep all of our customers happy and so does every single person that is employed at AmbiLogic. If if that includes going beyond what is expected of us. I can supply hundreds of positive opinions for this one negative situation. There are 2 sides to EVERY story.
