I like windows because I know that when I buy an OS it's good for at least 5 years with minimal updates, if I bought another mac I'd be stuck upgrading daily security updates and installing a new OS once every few years... what a pain

That's a really nice price for a computer whether it's a Mac or a PC. Maybe I'll look into get one as sort of a side computer. I've been meaning to try out OS X for a long time, but none of my friends around here have a Mac.

Not many people are Mac-based... most just have it as a second operating system. But you should definately give it a try... if your curious.
