Mac's

I think of my wintell machine like I do a legal pad and a bic stick. I can make notes I don't want to keep long, the pen skips a lot and the paper never comes off the way its should. The longer I use the pad the worse it looks.
My macs are boxs of Crayola Crayons even when I,m goofing off with them things just seam to turn out better than it should.
Oh yea! 6 years with imac OS9, and at the ibooks got X.2. I was so burnt from my time with windows, the imac sat in the box unopened for two weeks It was my last chance, there were no other choices out there, if this doesn't work? Has anyone out there ever felt like that?

Just over a month - when I got my 12" iBook G4 free via some contest. That was some good luck!

Completely newb to Macs, but I must say I'm loving the experience so far. I'm thankful for my experienes on Linux, they've prepared me for Mac OS X, and I use the terminal to do a lot of stuff, just more fun that way.

The last Apple I used was my first PC (in the general sense of personal computer) - an Apple IIE compatible with firmware Integer BASIC builtin which I got when I was eight years old (1983). I learned lots of cool stuff on that system, including 6502 Assembly.

I've used macs on and off for about 11 years. Right now I'm looking to get a macbook pro but they are just so darn expensive. It's hard to drop a couple grand on a laptop when you can get one with the same hardware for less than half the price...

I really want a Mac, but just don't have the money. I'm primarily a Linux user, but I do have a few Windoze boxes, too. Of course, if I ever do get a Mac, I could run both. Actually, conceivably, now that Mac is on x86, I could even run all three, but that would just be silly.
