Default Error in running in.named

Hello all,

i am a newbie to this DNS stuff. While invoking #/usr/sbin/in.named in order
to run named.conf , i got the following error message:

log_new_context() failed: Not enough space

My machine is running Bind 9 on OS Solaris 9 x86 with 256Mb RAM.

any help is greatly appreciated

Default Re: Error in running in.named

Hi

What does df -k say about / ?

Is it a new Solaris install? they put all the free space in /export/home if you
do a default... it's like that on Sparc too.

Also

I think Solaris 9 and 10 come with bind 8 versions :( by default
