Well I finally did it, upgraded to XP Home SP1. But I have a few Q's
about stuff that 98SE did I'd like to find how to do in XP also, so
here goes...

1) How do I see how many resources are being consumed on Startup? In
98SE "My Computer/Properties" would do it, how so in XP?

2) I use "StartupCPL" to control what's booting on Startup, how do I
see which processes load at Startup and switch them on/off in XP?

3) I've never liked MS's "Java Virtual Machine" and prefer to use
Sun's JRE Plugin. How do I get the default Java to JRE? Mere
installation didn't do it.

4) Can anyone explain to me why "Generic Host Services" wants to go
out on port 1900? I've blocked it, but what is port 1900?

I have many more but these are the ones bugging me the most, for now.
I'm running Athlon 2400+ on an nForce2 platform and 98SE just couldn't
handle it, eventually locking up or bluescreening with heavy use.
